The Courtyard Gallery hosts an exciting range of original paintings and ceramics.

As Appleby has been recognised as an official Honorary Quidditch Town, there's a Harry Potter inspired shop in the town - The Cupboard under the stairs which sells unique Harry Potter items.

The lively markets provided essential food supplies and were an important focus for the local community. Today colourful Farmers' Markets in Orton and Brough are helping to revive the tradition by providing quality produce.

Appleby has an outdoor Market on a Saturday and on the last Saturday of every month 'Hubcraft' a gathering of lovely local crafts and produce takes place at the Appleby Hub.
