Shap Information Point

Situated in Shap in the Old Courthouse building (next to Shap Library). Volunteers are on hand to provide local information and tourist information  leaflets are available. 

Regular art exhibitions are held in The Exhibit 'A' Gallery and there is space available for other displays and events. The building has WiFi access, computers and also printing/photocopying facilities. 

Opening times

• Monday 10am to 1pm
• Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday 1pm to 4pm
• Wednesday closed
• Saturday 10am to Midday

2026: During January and February there will be no Sunday opening.
