Community Based Tourism Opportunities in Eden

Communities often have the local knowledge, skills and expertise to promote their local area with support from the Visit Eden Team.

Please get in touch if you would like more information on how we can work with your local community to promote your area or you would like to discuss ideas that you may have.

Community Tourism projects that we have supported include:

• Producing a promotional leaflet for Shap using local knowledge, skills and expertise
• Setting up a volunteer run Information Point at Shap Old Courthouse in partnership with Shap Community Interest Company
• Producing a promotional leaflet for Orton and Tebay using local knowledge, skills and expertise
