• Westmorland and Furness Leaflet Swap and Networking event - in partnership with Hutton-in the-Forest we are planning a FREE Westmorland and Furness Leaflet Swap and Networking event at Hutton-in the-Forest Historic House on Tuesday 17th March 2026, 1pm to 3pm (drop in event).
  
  
• FREE standard entry in the ‘Where to Stay’ section of the Visit Eden website for Eden accommodation in 2026
  

• AA and VisitEngland assessment scheme modernisation (2024). The current classification schemes have changed to a much simpler format and structure to ensure quality assurance remains best in class. This includes a brand new entry-level scheme called Visitor Ready.
  
  
• A county-wide destination management plan (DMP) has been unveiled.  This will help build a successful visitor economy for the future (April 2024).
