Thursday 6 November, Dawdles Walk with car share 2.8 miles - Smardale Nature * Reserve. Meet at The Cloisters 10:30am. Exploring some autumn colour at this reserve built on a disused railway. Easy going for disabled scooters. Yorkshire Dales National Park. Optional refreshments back in Kirkby Stephen.
Friday 7 November, Legstretcher Walk with car share 4 miles - Crosby Garrett circular. Meet Christian Head car park 9:30am. 8.4km/5.2miles, 166m/544ft. 2.5 hrs. Yorkshire Dales National Park.
Thursday 13 November, Dawdles Walk: Lakes Field Walk. Meet The Cloisters 10:30am. This walk can get very wet after wet weather so we will provide an alternative if unsuitable on the day. John Strutt Foundation Nature Reserve. Easy going for disabled scooters. Optional refreshments back in Kirkby Stephen.

Meet The Cloisters 10:30am. A leisurely walk around the back lanes of these twin villages following our Buggy Trail suitable for disabled scooters. Optional refreshments to be arranged.

Meet The Cloisters 10:30am. Our traditional walk around Kirkby Stephen looking at the Christmas Windows and voting on our favourites over coffee in front of the fire at Church Gallery. Suitable for disabled scooters.
Thursday 4 December, Dawdles Walk, Sandwath and Owen’s Farm shop *
Meet The Cloisters 10:30am. Following medieval green lanes to Sandwath stopping at Owen’s Farm Shop before returning to the town centre.
Friday 5 December, Legstretcher walk with car share 14 miles Crosby Ravensworth and Mauds Meaburn. Meet Christian Head car park 9:30am. A gentle walk around Crosby Ravensworth and Mauds Meaburn hoping to stop for pub refreshments.

Thursday 18 December, Dawdles Walk with Christmas celebration, Slap Gap Lane and Hartley Fold *
We will head out of town towards #Winton on old Kirkbank Lane turning off along Slack Gap B.O.A.T and jointing Winton road to Hartley fold to return to Kirkby Stephen. Mainly tarmac suitable for disabled buggies. Coffee and mince pies at the Old Forge. Let us know you are coming for baking purposes.
Thursday 1 January, Dawdles Walk Hartley circular *
Meet at The Cloisters 10:30am. An easy local walk to the pretty village of Hartley to blow the cobwebs away after Christmas.
Dawdles walks should take about an hour unless otherwise stated 2/3 miles - Where there is a car share, allow for extra time to reach destinations and return. We usually find optional refreshments to continue our social gatherings. Legstretchers, allow for a morning out -1st Friday once a month - Please wear suitable footwear for wet and uneven surfaces and clothes appropriate to the Cumbria weather. A drink and snack is useful as we don’t always end near a café or pub for refreshments. Everyone welcome, suggested donation £1 per walk towards expenses.
We will substitute the walk leader if not available, back marker added on the day as needed. We carry Public Liability Insurance.
