How to get to Eden
Eden is easily accessible by car through key road links including the M6, A66, A686 and A592.

The historic Settle to Carlisle railway runs through the heart of Eden, with stations at Armathwaite, Lazonby, Langwathby, Appleby and Kirkby Stephen. Steam trains can occasionally be seen travelling along this line. The average journey time from London to Penrith is around 3.5 hours

Carlisle Lake District Airport
Scheduled passenger flights have returned to Carlisle Lake District Airport for the first time in more than 25 years. Scottish-based Loganair now operate passenger flights to Dublin, Belfast and London Southend (from 4 July 2019).
Services will operate five days a week and flights can be booked on the Loganair website.
Carlisle Lake District Airport is just 6 miles east of Carlisle city centre and 25 miles from Penrith. Penrith is just a 10 minute direct rail journey from Carlisle city centre railway station with a regular service operating throughout the day.
Eden is within a couple of hours drive from the following airports. All the airports below have easy access to the M6 and offer car hire services. They all have excellent rail links.
