Free mystery apple identification sessions at Acorn Bank

Do you have an apple tree growing in your outdoor space that needs identifying? Here's your chance! In collaboration with the North Cumbrian Orchard Group.

Description

Bring along your mystery apple(s) to be examined and hopefully identified by a panel of experts. From the Acorn Bank gardener who looks after the 165 varieties grown here, and experts from the North Cumbrian Orchard Group, they'll use their knowledge and experience and will do their very best to help you identify your mystery apple.

On arrival to Acorn Bank, please book your timed slot(s) with the team. You'll get 15 minutes per apple and it's a maximum of three apples only please.

This event is free, but normal admission charges apply for the venue.
