From Friday 23 October to Friday 20 November, celebrate the wonders of the night sky with the Cumbria Dark Skies Festival: from art installations and guided walks to night-time swimming and canoeing, there’s plenty to enjoy.

Events include the Cosmic Cumbria Exhibition at Rheged, Stargazing night swim at Another Place hotels (The Lake) and Alston Moor Stargazing, Lantern-making and night-time mine trip.
