Description

Join Roy for another enjoyable and relaxed day, experimenting with oil pastels under his enthusiastic guidance.

They say oil and water do not mix, true, but they can dance together and produce dramatic effects!

After some initial exercises to introduce the materials, I will demonstrate a seascape step by step and you will follow along using the materials provided. It is here we will take full advantage of the oil pastel and white gouache paint to create that watery sparkle. It is rather magical; the oil pastel repels the wet paint and helps make effects that will amaze you!

After this we will produce more paintings using reference photos provided. You will take home several paintings, one will be in a supplied mount.
