Christmas Lights Switch on and Christmas Tractor Run – Kirkby Stephen, Kirkby Stephen - Saturday 28th November 2026

10am onwards.  A day of celebrating all things festive topping it all off with a superb Tractor Run, following the turning on of the lights at 6pm.

Food stalls, rides, Christmas windows, mini tractor parade, Christmas show, treasure hunt, Christmas fair, Euphoric Circus, Singalong and more. 

There will also be a Santa’s Grotto which needs to be pre-booked, for tickets call into Sandys, The Old Shambles, Market Square or text 07974 754026.

Plus Christmas Tractor Run by Pennine YFC – Various local villages in Kirkby Stephen area

6pm.  Starts from the Auction Mart.  This is our third year of hosting the event and we are looking forward to seeing many decorated tractors.  Donation buckets will also be circulating, we’re raising money to support 4 different charities this year – Pennine YFC, Kirkby Stephen Christmas Lights Switch On, The Great North Air Ambulance and the MS Society.

This year we’ve also extended our horizons and are taking over Kirkby Stephen auction mart cafe serving burgers, cakes, teas and coffees etc.
