‘Pop-Up’ Pump Track and Cycling event

Come ride the pop-up pump track - free, fun and open to all!

Description

Bring your bike, scooter or skateboard and have a go. 

• Saturday 10th May 11am to 7pm
• Sunday 11th May 11am to 7pm

At Penrith Leisure Centre Astroturf courts. Suitable for all ages (but dependent on individual skill levels).

For the Penrith event, the funding for the track has come from Westmorland and Furness Council Community Safety partnership, via 'Eden Local Focus Hub'.

To compliment the Penrith Pump Track:

• ‘Wheels-For-All’ will also be attending with a range of accessible cycles
• Arragon Cycles will be in attendance
• GLL will be providing taster sessions of the Leisure Centre’s activities
• Teas, Coffee’s and refreshments can be purchased from Penrith Leisure Centre
• Free Parking will be available at the Leisure Centre
• Bike Marking from Eden Neighbourhood Policing Team

At the event, Westmorland and Furness Council are exploring the possibility of building permanent pump tracks in Westmorland and Furness and would love the community’s input.
