Description

While you're in Kirkby Stephen for the Westmorland Dales Festival on 25 and 26 July, make sure to visit Eden Place, a charming three-acre garden with many large perennial borders and island beds enclosed by tall hedges. Part of the garden is made over to aviaries with exotic birds, some are free-flying.

It's £5 for adults, but children and dogs go free, and refreshments are available.

Eden Place, Kirkby Stephen, CA17 4AP (1/4 mile North of Kirkby Stephen. Take the A685 Kirkby Stephen to Brough Road. Cross the bridge and take a right turn. Eden Place is 200 yards on the right.)
