Join us in Kirkby Stephen on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 July 2025 to celebrate the wonderful Westmorland Dales with a packed programme of exploration, events and entertainment for all. Explore the Dales with guided walks, a bus tour to Hawes and the Dales Countryside Museum, family activities and nature workshops in Jubilee Park; enjoy circus skills workshops, wild play for children, live music and Eden Animal Rescue's dog show; get creative with Lakeland Arts; discover the Dales Countryside Museum's Great Big Dialect Hunt, Stainmore Railway and Winton Park Gardens; and find local artists, makers and producers as well as community and conservation groups at our markets. And don't miss Art in the Mart - for the first time art is taking over from livestock at the town's Auction Mart!

The majority of our events are free of charge, and we are enormously grateful to all the partners and sponsors who help make this possible. This year too we are delighted to have received generous support from the National Lottery Community Fund.

We're keeping all our fingers crossed for a repeat of last year's fabulous weather, but come rain or shine there'll be plenty to do and enjoy at the Westmorland Dales Festival 2025 - and we can't wait to see you there!
