This screening is part of the Alston Live 2025 programme. The main event takes place on Tyne Willows Recreation Ground on Friday 18th and Saturday 19th July.

Both organisations are excited to be working together. Following a public vote, ‘A Complete Unknown’ was the clear winner from a number of music based movies.
Timothée Chalamet stars and sings as Bob Dylan in James Mangold's biopic, the electric true story behind the rise of one of the most iconic singer-songwriters in history.
New York, 1961. Against the backdrop of a vibrant music scene and tumultuous cultural upheaval, an enigmatic 19-year-old from Minnesota arrives with his guitar and revolutionary talent, destined to change the course of American music. He forges intimate relationships with music icons of Greenwich Village on his meteoric rise, culminating in a groundbreaking and controversial performance that reverberates worldwide.
Admission is £7.50 on the door, cash or card. Doors open at 7pm and the show begins at approx. 7.30pm. The film is a 15 certificate and will finish around 10.15pm. Prior to the film, local musicians Benson ‘n’ Edges will be welcoming people into the town hall with a selection of acoustic numbers. You can enjoy more from them at Alston Live.
The evening is also an opportunity to purchase tickets for Alston Live. They are priced at £25 per day or £40 for both days. Cash or card payments accepted.
A cash only, licenced, bar is available throughout the evening. Serving a good range of alcoholic, alcohol free and soft drinks.
