Appleby Agricultural Show 2027

Appleby Agricultural Society hold an annual show on the second Thursday of August.

Description

We have a wide variety of classes for sheep, cattle, poultry, vintage machinery, dogs, children’s pets, produce, handicrafts and horticultural exhibitors.

Equestrian classes include Veterans, Fells, Dales, Pony Riding, Mountain and Moorland, Sports Horse including Racehorse, Working Hunter and Handy Pony Class and Concours D'Elegance.

Appleby Show is a great day out for all the family with free entry for children under 10. With the close proximity to the A66, free parking and a free taxi service from the centre of Appleby the show is easily accessible.

In addition to the exhibits on show there are a variety of stands, children’s entertainments, local craft exhibitors and main ring events.
