Appleby Agricultural Show has a wide variety of classes for sheep, cattle, poultry, vintage machinery, dogs, children’s pets, produce, handicrafts and horticultural exhibitors.

Appleby Agricultural Show will be held on Thursday 13th August 2026.

Equestrian classes include Veterans, Fells, Dales, Pony Riding, Mountain & Moorland, Sports Horse, Working Hunter and Handy Pony Class and Concours D'Elegance.

Appleby Show is a great day out for all the family with free entry for children under 10. With the close proximity to the A66, free parking and a free taxi service from the centre of Appleby the show is easily accessible.

In addition to the exhibits on show there are a variety of stands, children’s entertainments, local craft exhibitors and main ring events.
