  • An Ullswater Adventure - Spend a day in the Ullswater Valley.  Call in at a unique visitor centre, a historic mansion and soak up the dramatic mountain views aboard an Ullswater 'Steamer'

  • A Market Town: a restored railway and a world-class scenic route to the North Pennines - Enjoy some time in Penrith, browsing the town's fascinating speciality shops, museum and castle.  Then head off towards Alston on 'one of the 10 most scenic routes in the world' (as voted by the AA).
