Eden Tourism Grants

We offer a small tourism marketing grant for tourism related projects in the Eden area. There is a maximum of £500 available per project and applications can be made at any time throughout the year.

The grant is aimed at projects, events and activities which add value to the Eden visitor offer and/or contribute to the Eden visitor economy.

Projects supported by the Eden Tourism Grant scheme include:

• Sockbridge and Tirril Heritage Trail leaflet - available from Penrith Tourist Information Centre
• Herdwick Stones on the Ullswater Way Heritage Trail
• Hoff Beck Interpretation Panels
• Shap Visitor Information Point
• The Ullswater Way walking route
• Skelton Footpath group
• North Pennines Walking Festival
• Appleby mini guide reprint
• Appleby Castle events leaflet
• Alston electric bike scheme
• Midland Beer and Cumbria Food Festival, Appleby
