Surrounded by open countryside, Howscales is located in the beautiful, peaceful Eden Valley, 1.5 miles outside the picturesque and friendly village of Kirkoswald. Kirkoswald boasts two great pubs, and a community owned village shop.

Each cottage has its own unique qualities whilst retaining many of the original features of the 17th Century former working farm.
The stylish accommodation is decorated to a high standard, with all the home comforts you can wish for.
In addition, each cottage has been awarded 4-star gold by Visit England. So you can be sure to find an exceptionally clean, well maintained, homely cottage whichever one you choose.
It’s our mission to create a welcoming, friendly environment, and make sure you have everything you need so you can relax, enjoy and make memories.
