Dawdles Walk: Sunbiggin Tarn
A little further afield to finish our early summer programme.

What could be lovelier than a walk at Sunbiggin Tarn on a summer’s day? (no rain please) Sheila will lead us around this SSSI site which is nationally important for its rich and varied flora and for breeding birds. Refreshments to be arranged.

We will go whatever the weather - please wear suitable clothing and footwear for the day – we will adapt walks when essential. Dawdles walks should take about an hour unless otherwise stated – Legstretchers, allow for a morning out (1st Friday once a month).
Where there is a car share, allow for extra time to reach destinations and return. We usually find optional refreshments after our walks.
Everyone welcome, suggested donation £1 per walk towards expenses. A few walks are adaptable for wheelchairs, please contact us. We will substitute the walk leader if not available, back marker added on the day. We carry Public Liability Insurance. Our walks take place in or around the Westmorland Dales, Yorkshire Dales National Park or North Pennines Area of Outstanding National Beauty all close to Kirkby Stephen.
