Description

An opportunity to visit the historic Robinson's School founded in 1670 as a school for poor girls and continuing its educational work as home to Penrith and Eden Museum and to view a display of artefacts recently acquired through the Portable Antiquities Scheme.

Museum open times as per adjoining Penrith Tourist Information Centre; these are 10am to 4pm - Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday (from August 27th 2020). No booking available. Due to limits on number of visitors allowed in the museum in compliance with Covid regulations implemented by Eden District Council some queuing can be expected.

COVID-19 Considerations

This event will run in line with local & national government guidelines and operate precautions implemented by Eden District Council for the opening of Penrith and Eden Museum and Penrith Tourist Information Centre.
