    Dawdles Walk plus car share Tailbrigg, Nateby

    Tailbrigg is one of the highest hills nearby yet easily accessible from the road.  With truly spectacular views over Nateby Common, down on the Eden valley and across to Mallerstang Edge.  If the weather is windy, we will have a lower level walk.  Boots and warm clothing essential.  Optional refreshments in Kirkby Stephen.  This programme uses mainly tarmac, please wear boots or shoes suitable for some uneven surfaces, mud and standing water where stated, subject to the day’s weather.  We will go whatever the weather - please wear suitable clothing and footwear for the day – we will adapt walks when necessary. DAWDLES Walk plus has an additional activity or interest during the walk.  All walks should take about an hour unless otherwise stated - DAWDLES Walk Little extra/Extra are taken at a quicker pace and are therefore longer.  Where there is a car share, allow for extra time to reach destinations and return.  We usually find optional refreshments after our walks.
