    Penrith Agricultural Show

    The Penrith Agricultural Society held the first Penrith Show in 1834.  From 2019 the event will take place on the 3rd Saturday in July - 20th July.  The show has gathered much momentum in recent years. With a wide spectrum of competition classes for farm livestock, arable, horses, rabbits, poultry, show jumping, industrial and horticulture, to a host of local trade stands, food hall and rural crafts marquee.  All of this and the tremendous variation of main ring attractions provide entertainment for all the family and friends.

Margaret loved wild flowers and was always our plant name authority, we are asking you to wear a wild flower buttonhole in remembrance.  Optional refreshments in Ravenstonedale.   We will go whatever the weather - please wear suitable clothing and footwear for the day – we will adapt walks when essential.
