Dawdles Walk plus little extra: Northern Viaduct Trust circular

Location: Kirkby Stephen, Cumbria, CA17 4QN

Date: 12 September 2019

The very popular Northern Viaduct round links Stenkrith Park to Hartley along the old Stainmore Railway over two spectacular viaducts.  Wheelchair accessible. This is a slightly longer walk so we will quicken the pace if walkers are able. This walk takes place in the North Pennines AONB.  Optional refreshments after the walk back in Kirkby Stephen.

We will go whatever the weather - please wear suitable clothing and footwear for the day – we will adapt walks when essential.

DAWDLES Walk plus has an additional activity or interest during the walk. All walks should take about an hour unless otherwise stated - DAWDLES Walk Little extra/Extra are longer and likely to be more strenuous or taken at a quicker pace.  Where there is a car share, allow for extra time to reach destinations and return.  We usually find optional refreshments after our walk.

Everyone welcome, suggested donation £1 per walk towards expenses.  Our walks take place in or around the YDNP or North Pennines AONB
