Eden District CouncilCommunity groups in Eden District, the Eden Community Fund totals £110,000 in 2014/15, grants of up to £10,000 are available for projects and £5,000 for events. Threlkeld Village Hall is just one community organisation that has benefitted from the funding with grants for a new coffee shop and audio visual equipment. The next deadline for applications is Friday 30 May 2014 and the final round deadline is 3 October 2014. If you need funding for a community event or project in Eden, The Eden Community Fund offers grant funding for projects and events. The latest project supported by the fund was Threlkeld Village Hall's new coffee shop.

'Voce' were the winners of Lakes Got Talent in 2013 and perform popular music with a Classical Twist. All proceeds from the evening will be donated to local charity Eden Carers.
