Penrith is a market town rich in history, with Penrith TIC housed alongside the Penrith and Eden Museum in the Old Robinson's School building dating back to 1670.

Main Services
Quality Assured Accommodation and Booking
We are able to make bookings for Quality Assured accommodation on your behalf (10% booking deposit based on full stay applies.) So if time is short, or you have a particular requirement why not let us do the hard work for you. We also offer the National Book a Bed Ahead (BABA) service.
Comprehensive local, regional and national Information Service
We stock a range of guides, leaflets and information on Eden, including local town guides, walking and cycling leaflets, local bus/train timetables, maps and event and attraction information. We also have information on other areas of Cumbria, The Lake District and other UK holiday destinations.
OS Explorer and Landranger maps
We sell a large range of maps and are stockists of OS Explorer and Landranger covering the whole UK.
Cumbria Attraction Tickets now on sale
Save money on Cumbria Attraction tickets by purchasing them through us! Official discounted tickets will save you pounds off on gate prices. Available for many venues including:

Kendal Calling 26th to 28th July, at Lowther Deer Park near Penrith
Penrith TIC are now selling tickets for Kendal Calling - the award-winning, innovative, independent festival held at Lowther Deer Park, near Penrith.
Adult w/e tickets £115. Other ticket options also available. Booking fee of £3.50 per ticket applies.
King Lear by The Globe Theatre 13th to 14th July at Brougham Hall, Penrith
Come to historic Brougham Hall this July to hear Shakepeare's story of King Lear retold in the open air by the famous Globe Theatre Company. Joseph Marcell (Geoffrey in The Fresh Prince of Bel Air) will play King Lear.
Performance times: Saturday at 7pm and Sunday at 3pm.
Tickets: £17.50 Adults / £12 Concessions.
Midsomer Promenade Concert at Brougham Hall, Penrith on 23rd June
The Cobweb Orchestra performs at the historic Brougham Hall.
Tickets £8 (£5 concessions for OAPs and children under 16).
On Wings of Song - Dalston Male Voice Choir at Christ Church, Penrith, 15th June

Wide range of guides, books and souvenirs on sale
A wide selection of local guides, DVD's, books and souvenirs are on sale in the TIC.
National Express and Eurolines Ticket Agency
We sell tickets to hundreds of exciting destinations served by National Express and Eurolines coaches. National Express have a number coach services that stop at Penrith, allowing easy travel to other parts of the UK and into Europe. Traveling to London? Two coach services run to the capital every 24 hours.
Other services
We supply RADAR national key scheme (NKS) - keys for accessible toilets. This national system offers independent access to disabled people to around 7,000 locked public toilets around the country. Disabled toilets are available in Bluebell Lane, Castle Park and Sandgate.
