Glenridding - Ullswater Tourist Information Centre
Ullswater Tourist Information Centre is situated in the main car park, Beckside, in Glenridding close to the shores of Ullswater. The refurbished centre now benefits from multi-media displays.
The friendly and knowledgeable team are here to help you make the most of your visit and can provide you with all you need to know about where to stay, where to eat, things to do and how to get here. Come and see them while you are here and you won't miss a thing!

Local Information Service
The TIC has information on local attractions and transport as well as a selection of leaflets on local walks.
Accommodation Booking Service
The TIC staff are able to make bookings for accommodation on your behalf (Local and Book a Bed Ahead (BABA) service.)
Range of books, maps, gifts and souvenirs on sale
A selection of local books, gifts, maps and souvenirs are on sale in the TIC. The TIC also has walking poles for hire/sale.

Fishing Licences
Environment Agency fishing licences can be purchased from the TIC.
Guided Walks
Further information on guided walks with both rangers and volunteers is available, plus certificates for climbing Helvellyn.
Wheelchair/Electric Scooter
The TIC has a wheelchair and electric scooter available to be borrowed.
Car park/toilets
There is a pay and display car park and toilet facilities available.
