What do TICs offer?
For help and advice on getting the most enjoyment out of a visit to the Eden Valley, Ullswater and Alston and the North Pennines please contact one of the area's Tourist Information Centres. Experienced and knowledgeable staff are able to provide a wide range of information including:
- Travelling to the area by car or public transport
- Advice on latest weather and traffic conditions
- Staying in quality assured accommodation
- What to do and see during your stay
- Information and tickets for events being held around the area and much, much more
Some centres sell tickets for local attractions, events and theatres!
